Job description
Primary Behaviour Specialist

Behaviour Specialist needed at a rapidly improving Academy school in Bradford. The school has a supportive and staff-focused Head teacher looking for a hard working creative specialist to support a number of children in a range of year groups.

The ideal person will have a behaviour or education based qualification and the experience necessary to effectively work with a range of children from different backgrounds and abilities on a 1-1 or group intervention basis to enhance their learning or challenge their abilities further.

The school is focused on raising attainment across their Year groups with a key focus on the KS1 & KS2 SATs as well as Phonic intervention within their lower age groups.

The successful candidate will have:
-The ability to discover existing strengths and use them to enable the pupils to succeed and record the children's work to show progress attained
-Experience working on a 1:1 basis or group work to support learning
-An understanding of behaviour strategies that support pupils behavioural targets and their in school expectations
-Suggestions and ideas to adapt and implement the use of specialist resources that will support children's learning
The position is to begin after the October Holidays and continue until the end of the academic year with potential to continue through to September 2018.
