Job description
Protocol Education are working with a thriving, innovative and stimulating Primary School based in Watford, Hertfordshire. The school want to create the best and happiest memories for all of its pupils, and provide a caring and positive place for children, parents, staff and neighbouring communities.
Children get one chance with their education, and so they want to ensure that they go the extra mile to ensure the children can reach their full potential.
The school is located in Watford, with excellent transport links both on the M25 and by overground or underground trains. There is also parking available at the school.

The school are looking to recruit a Behaviour Specialist who is resilient, confident and enjoy working with children who have challenging behaviour. A Behaviour Mentor works on supporting student behaviour and learning inside and outside of the classroom. This is predominantly a class-based position; however you may have to deliver 1:1 intervention sessions also in order to maintain the progress of student's behaviour and learning.
A Behaviour Mentor has a tailored intervention role that has been designed to help pupils with behavioural problems to reach their full potential and narrow the gap in learning, this is extremely important in supporting the mainstream primary schools we work with throughout Hertfordshire.

The school can offer you:

• The chance to work in an energetic, friendly and high achieving team and the opportunity to work with some fantastic young people
• significant opportunities to further your professional development
• happy, enthusiastic children whose conduct is exemplary
• a new modern, well equipped building, with exciting and attractive learning environments
• a forward thinking and innovative leadership team who remember the well-being and work-life balance of their teachers is important
