PPA Cover Teacher -Leicester.
Protocol Education are working in partnership with a two form entry primary school in Leicester. This school is looking to employ a teacher for a full time PPA cover role starting asap.
The practitioner would be responsible for creating daily lesson plans based on the core subject areas that the classroom teacher has requested to be taught. The role would be to cover reception through to Year 6. Therefore the successful candidate would require sound knowledge of the National Curriculum and have the ability to adapt set lesson plans in order to support all the children within the classroom. This school have some children with challenging behaviour so the teacher would be responsible for following the strategies that have been put in place in order to ensure the children are reaching their specific IEP’s.
To be successful in your application you will need:
• Qualified Teacher Status
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Recent teaching experience in delivering quality primary education or a recent qualification as a Primary Teacher
