We are currently recruiting teaching assistants to work in our specialist colleges located in Sutton. As a teaching assistant you will be supporting students academically, developing life skills, social independence, participating in work placements and partaking in outdoor activities. Due the specialist nature of the college you will be supporting learners with a variety of needs that include; autism, severe learning disabilities and physical disabilities.The college are looking for teaching assistants who able to implement a patient, calm and engaging approach to their learners, their learning and needs, and be able to work creatively and pro-actively. If successful you will be part of a supportive team and will be trained throughout the placement.

• Passionate about working with special needs
• Comfortable supporting students with numeracy/ literacy and developing life skills
• An ability to be proactive, creative and calm
• To adhere to the school's policies and practices
