Protocol Education are currently recruiting learning support assistants and support workers to work in an Outstanding specialist school have special needs & care experience. As a learning support assistant you will be expected to create an environment that will empower each student to become confident, independent life-learners who can express themselves and their choices, whilst safeguarding their happiness and safety. Successful candidates will focus on numeracy, literacy, sensory development within classes that include cooking, gardening. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to assist students within their work placements.

The role:

• Work with students on a 1:1 basis and within a class
• Assisting with recreational activities such as gardening, farming and bowling
• Support the learners in class on a one to one basis with numeracy and literacy
• Assist with their daily learning needs & activities such as shopping, washing & cooking
• Working within a supportive environment and team
