Protocol Education East London Special Needs Team require an experienced support worker that works with Severe Learning Difficulties students. We have a school based in Newham that require a secondary SLD support worker.

Children with severe learning difficulties (SLD) are likely to find it difficult to understand, learn and remember new skills. As a result, they will have problems with both the acquisition of skills and their application to new situations. That is why we require the ideal candidate who understands and knows how to give the right attention to be there constantly and show support. Somebody who knows what it means to work with Special Needs Students.

The Ideal candidates would need to be:
oTeam player
oSafeguarding aware
oHappy to do personal care
oModerate SEN knowledge
oHappy take instruction
oBe resilient
oHappy to learn new skills
oHappy to help with personal care needs including feeding & changing
