Physics Teacher Wanted

This Birmingham secondary school are looking to appoint a Physics Teacher to a long term supply cover for an immediate start when the new academic year starts in September 2017 and is due to run through until at least Christmas, though this may extend. The position is offered on a full time, 5 day a week basis and will see the successful applicant teaching Physics to KS3 and KS4 pupils.

You will join a school that has been through a significant period of transition, joining a team with a free impetus and a new dynamic and inspiration leadership team. The school have implemented high standards throughout with high expectations of staff and pupils, with staff passionate about their profession, their school and the new vision and values that are being embedded throughout the school.

Located within Birmingham LEA the school is found in to the East of the city centre within easy commutable distance from surrounding areas in Birmingham and Solihull. This is a large school well above the average sized secondary school. Pupils come from a diverse set of backgrounds with the majority of pupils coming from ethnic minorities with a significant proportion of pupils speaking English as an additional language. The schools catchment area covers an area of significant deprivation with over half of pupils eligible for the pupil premium with a higher than average number of pupils with special needs.
