Photography Teacher

We are working with a well regarded sixth form College based in Cambridge to recruit a Photgraphy teacher to join their team on a full time basis to cover a long term sickness. Expected to last at least until Christmas this is an exciting opportunity for any qualified Photography Teachers or Art teachers with a photography background. Knowledge of the A-Level Photography curriculum would be a huge advantage although candidates from a more general Art Teaching background would also be considered.
This is a long term role and and ideal position for candidates looking for regular work on the run up to christmas and for those looking to build their experience in an FE setting.
The ideal candidate for this role:
- Valid PGCE with QTS/QTLS or equivalent FE teaching qualification
- Confident in delivering creative lessons
- Good classroom management
- Valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for a new one)
- Can provide referees covering the last 2 years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
