A newly refurbished Primary school located in the heart of Peckham are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to start in September 2020, working 1:1 with a student with physical disabilities.
The successful candidate will be required to work 8:30-16:00 with a 30-minute lunch break. The student has a nurse with them throughout the school day however, you will be required to support the student with their learning and personal care.
You will be required to:
• Support the student in the classroom and with their personal care
• Be committed to continuously improving standards and outcomes of the student
• Be committed to further developing your skills and knowledge
• Be passionate and determined to support the student at all times
***You must have experience working with children and be confident working with students who have physical disabilities***

As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40.00.
