Job description
Are you ready to start a job that is rewarding and career enhancing?

Do you have experience with SEND? An outstanding school in Surrey is looking for support workers who are passionate about improving the lives of young people with learning difficulties.

If you have experience or an excellent understanding in any of the following areas, then we need to hear from you;

  • Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
  • Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties)
  • Downs Syndrome
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Makaton / PECS
  • To apply for this position, you would ideally have the following;
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong and effective behaviour management
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Be able to inspire

We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS SCHOOL REQUIRES THAT ALL STAFF HOLD ADULT & CHILD DBS
