Job description
Permanent KS2 Teacher Required in Sandwell

We are currently working with a School in the Tipton area who are looking for a Permanent Teacher to start in the Easter term, teaching Year 4.

The school is a popular school located in the Tipton area and has recently been graded Good by Ofsted. The class is supported by a full-time Teaching Assistant, and you would be supported by a planning partner.

The school is looking for a qualified teacher who is energetic, experienced and enthusiastic about teaching. A knowledge of the Curriculum is essential, as is a good understanding of planning and assessment techniques. You must be able to create a stimulating environment for children to work in and you must have good ICT skills. You must be confident in holding the attention of a class with good behaviour management skills. Creativity, a caring nature and a good sense of humour are also necessary.

Salary will be dependant on experience and discussed at Interview,

Experience is desirable, however the post could be suitable for an NQT that can display a strong level of behaviour Management and provide placement feedback of a high standard.

You will be required to be able to provide a minimum of 2 recent references (within the last 3 years) and a valid DBS (or be willing to apply for one).

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
