Performing Arts Teacher

A school in North Somerset are seeking a passionate and forward-thinking Teacher of Performing Arts to join their already successful and dynamic department. ECTs, as well as experienced applicants are encouraged to apply.

You must be a well-qualified specialist, holding QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree, with the ability to teach Key Stage 3 & Key Stage 4. The school are looking for professionals who have excellent class management skills and have high expectations of behaviour and work.

The successful candidate will:

  • Plan lessons to meet the needs of all students, including those with SEND and pupil premium
  • Monitor and report on the progress of students
  • Take the necessary action(s) to ensure students reach their potential
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Have a proven record of working with young people in a school setting
  • Be passionate about the subject
