Performing Arts Teacher - East Leeds

I work with a variety of schools throughout the East Leeds area who offer a vibrant and engaging learning environment. Our aim is to help our schools deliver excellent and innovative education which supports and inspires every student to achieve their ambitions.

With a specialism in Acting or Musical Theatre, you will be expected to teach across KS3-5 and may have additional responsibilities within the pastoral sector. You will be confident with your subject and really enjoy engaging your students to inspire them into the world of dance, acting and theatre. A positive and can-do attitude is a must and your personality should shine.

You should have previous teaching experience and not be fazed by challenging behaviour. There may also be elements of working with SEN children, so experience in this department would be a bonus.

Our schools are looking for strong, experienced teachers who can manage challenging behaviour effectively while planning and delivering engaging lessons across KS3-5. You would follow the school's individual behaviour policy and safeguarding specifications to ensure your students are safe under your supervision. You will pride yourself to work as an honest professional, as we and our schools do, to ensure our great partnerships continue.
We have opportunities to work with our schools on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to extend to permanent for the right candidate.
We are looking for the following:
•Experienced Drama/Performing Arts teachers
•The ability to manage challenging behaviour
•Someone who can plan and deliver engaging lessons up to KS3-KS5
•A punctual individual who wishes to be a part of the school
•A current DBS or be willing to complete one
•A great communicator, with students and staff members
