Job description
PE Teacher September 2017 Start, maternity contract

I am recruiting for an PE Teaching for a mainstream, mixed secondary school based in Newham

You will be teaching key stage 3 and 4 PE, if you are able to teach key stage 5 that will be advantageous.

You will be a passionate teacher, dedicated to improving students knowledge of PE and raising attainment levels, utilising your teaching techniques. You will support the PE department, attending department meetings.

With excellent knowledge of PE, you may be required to run intervention sessions for those students that need additional support with PE, and may also attend school trips.

NQTs and experienced teachers are both welcome to apply. Only successful applicants will be contacted.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00
