We are working in partnership with a Secondary School based in Islington who are seeking to appoint a PE Teacher to join them ASAP for the remainder of the academic year with the potential for a permanent contract for theright candidate.

The successful applicant will be energetic and enthusiastic and enjoy working with 11-18-year-olds. You will enjoy nurturing young people to grow in confidence and flourish personally. You will share the schools inclusive values of “opportunity, diversity and success for all” and you will have a willingness to develop your own practice in line with our ethos of continuous improvement.

In return, you will be joining a supportive team of tenacious, optimistic and talented PE Department, who have the support of an experienced leadership team.

The successful candidate will be qualified to teach core sports across the age ranges. Experience in coaching netball is desirable, but not essential. The ability to teach A level would also be an advantage.

The PE department is a vibrant and enthusiastic faculty, who work together within a strong team ethos to develop student's love of Physical Education, secure exceptional outcomes and maintaining the health and well-being of students The Physical Education department has a commitment to subject expertise and curriculum excellence.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
