PE PPA Cover - Full-time

My client is an Outstanding Primary School and are looking for an experienced PE PPA Cover - Full-time, for a long term role from September 2016.

This school is situated in Leyton and is much larger than most primary schools and draws its pupils from the local area. A minority of pupils are from a Pakistani background, with very small minorities from other White, other Asian, Indian, Caribbean and African headteacher provides outstanding leadership, and strong teamwork between the headteacher, staff and the governing body is a notable feature of leadership and management.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate sports coach to teach Physical Education across key stages 1 and 2 as part of our PPA provision, and lead on School Sports and Extended Schools Clubs.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and teach PE curriculum from Year 1 to year 6

Manage PE resources

Coordinate and supervise calendar of sporting events throughout the academic year

Coordinate after-school clubs

Run sports-based after-school club(s)

Promote positive play through structured games at lunchtimes

Promote our school values – respect, teamwork, achievement, creativity, perseverance and enthusiasm – through PE and Schools Sport
