An 'Outstanding' one-form entry Primary school in Keighley is looking to recruit passionate teaching assistants to work across both their mainstream setting and their brand new Resourced Provision specialising in Autism.

Staff will be expected to work within the new provision as well as with pupils with SEN in the main school.

The Executive Headteacher and Local Governing Body wish to invite applications from highly motivated and organised individuals with energy and vision to join their excellent and dedicated team as a graduate teaching assistant, with aspirations to become a teacher.

The school has a proven track record in developing staff to further their careers through their association with Bradford Birth to 19 Teaching School and SCITT so this is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with SEN experience wanting to further their career.

As such, our ideal candidate should be flexible, adaptable, a good communicator, have a cheerful disposition and respond calmly under pressure.

The successful candidate will have a varied role, which involves supporting the teacher in all aspects to ensure that pupils receive the most effective support. You will be able to demonstrate a practical, hands on approach to supporting teaching and be prepared to go above and beyond.

• Someone who is committed to the safeguarding of young people.
