Job description
Protocol Education is currently seeking an outstanding Year 5 teacher to join one of our client schools in the Spring Term.

Our client is a lovely independent school based in the London Borough of Brent who are looking to appoint a full time upper KS2 Teacher from January 2019 on a long term contract. The role is part-time - mornings onlu from 8am until 12.30pm.

You will be in charge of preparation, planning, assessment and delivery of lessons in English, Maths and Science in Year 5 class of up to 16 children. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team. Our client is looking for a candidate with as a high work-ethic, can-do' attitude, ability to bring an engaging and inspiring attitude to the classroom and willingness to learn and contribute to the school's life. You will also work effectively in a team and be able to step up and take own initiative when necessary.

The successful candidate must have:
- A Qualified Teacher Status (either a PGCE or Cert Ed.)
- Very good Knowledge of British National Curriculum and the ability to plan differentiated work
- A wide experience teaching within the British National Curriculum (ideally more than 3 years)
- A valid DBS or willing to undertake an application for one.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Excellent teaching references
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.

Additionally, the candidates must be available for interviews as soon as possible. The school would like to appoint immediately.
