Job description
Protocol Education is currently looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Part Time Year 3 Teacher to join one of the primary schools in Kingsbury, Brent.

This is a part-time role (2 days a week) which starts in January 2019 and is a maternity cover for two terms.

Our client is a school (rated as GOOD' by Ofsted) who has high expectations of all of pupils and aims at helping children to develop their skills and attributes which will prepare them for a successful and fulfilling future. Their well-established and very supportive team is seeking a dynamic, hard-working and passionate teacher capable of planning, delivering and assessing Year 3 National British Curriculum to a high standard, successfully preparing the pupils for their upper KS2 years.

The ideal candidate will have an extensive experience working within the upper KS2 British National Curriculum. They will have a strong understanding of Year 3, excellent behaviour management skills and can-do' attitude. We are looking for an individual who can provide inspiring atmosphere in the classroom and meaningful and enriching learning experiences ensuring that all children achieve and attain to the best of their ability by the time they finish their primary education. On top of this, you will have a great teamworking and organization skills, as you will be required to do a job share with another teacher and liaise with them on a regular basis.


The successful applicant must have:
- A Qualified Teacher Status (either a PGCE or Cert Ed.)
- A minimum of 1 year UK teaching experience.
- Knowledge of KS2 British National Curriculum and the ability to plan differentiated work.
- Excellent behaviour management.
- Strong Numeracy and Literacy skills.
- Outstanding communication, time management and teamwork skills.
- A valid DBS or willing to undertake one.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Excellent teaching references.
