Job description
We are working with a popular Church school in the heart of London, looking for an experienced teacher to join them for the summer term on a part time basis. You do not have to be an existing SENCO to apply, there will be training and support on the job, so if you are a teacher with an interest in SEN, this could be perfect for you.

The role of SENCO involves meeting parents of pupils with SEN, organising assessments and reports by external professionals and setting up support plans for pupils with SEN. The successful candidate needs good communication skills both orally and in writing and have the presence and professional ability to handle sensitive situations. They must be organised, hardworking and have a strong interest in their own continued professional development.

The school can offer;
- Mentoring from the Assistant Head Teacher
- Knowledgeable leadership team and staff
- Good partnerships with external agencies
- High achieving happy pupils, and positive atmosphere throughout

Why you should apply;
- Part time role to give you a great work/life balance
- A chance to learn a new role as a SENCO without prior experience
- A great location, accessible from both the overground and many tube stations, and easy to commute to from outer London

Apply now!

Applicants will be subject to Protocol Education's child safety standards and background checks.
