Job description
Are you a qualified Secondary School Maths Teacher looking for part-time work? Do you have experience working with challenging behaviours? Protocol Education has en exciting opportunity starting in September at a small, independent Alternative Provision in the London Borough of Enfield.

The ideal candidate will be a success-driven Maths Teacher who can show a commitment to the consistent improvement of the school. The school wants to recruit someone who is adept at engaging pupils and empowering them to achieve to the maximum of their ability. The right teacher must have a proven track record of maintaining authority in the classroom.

The school provides alternative education for 11-16 year olds who may have struggled to settle in a mainstream environment, but who would be keen to reintegrate. The school offers a safe and stimulating learning environment where pupils are able to develop socially, academically and emotionally, in order for students to attain and achieve their full potential becoming effective citizens and life-long learners.

This teaching role is available for a September start, with a view to a long-term placement at the school. The proposed hours of work are three days per week, though there is flexibility to adapt the hours to suit the right candidate. There is a possibility the role may extend into four days. Teaching a second, non-core subject would be an advantage.
