Part-Time Classroom Support Assistant

A friendly primary school in Gateshead is looking for a reliable Part-Time Classroom Support Assistant to help create a positive and supportive learning environment for pupils.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to gain experience within a primary school setting.

The role is part-time, term time only, with working hours typically between 8.30am and 3.30pm.

The Role

As a Classroom Support Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to help pupils stay engaged and confident in their learning.

Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting pupils during lessons and classroom activities
• Helping teachers prepare learning materials and resources
• Working with small groups of pupils to reinforce learning
• Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom routines
