Job description
Protocol Education are currently recruiting a number of 1:1 Support Assistants for a school in Leicester. We are looking for an experienced SEN Support Assistant to provide 1-1 support for a looked after child.
• Do you have experience working with children aged between 8-16 years of age?
• Are you a caring individual with a desire of helping children to gain their full potential?
• Are you looking for a job that is challenging but the outcome is rewarding?

Then this is for you.

Your main duties will include:
• Inspiring and engaging with the child.
• Putting stratergies in place to help the child in over becoming barriers.
• Assessing individual learning needs and working on an individual basis.
• Assessing and reporting on the individual pupils' progress.


The successful candidates need to have previous experience of working with SEN students and have a strong desire of getting involved in every aspect of the school. Experience with children and young adults that have SEMH would be preferable.

Successful Applicants will be subject to references and an up to date DBS or be willing to apply for a Protocol DBS.
