The School itself is 'Outstanding' in every way, a love of school and a family atmosphere is what makes them stand out and has helped them along with their innovative and unique approach to all areas of work and processes within the school.

They are looking to appoint an exceptional and talented teacher for a KS2 role who will motivate, inspire and enable pupils to achieve high outcomes. There is an element of flexibility as to which class you will be assigned to but it is important to the school that you fee comfortable teaching across the year groups.

The Children are at the heart of everything they do and so it is vital that they find a teacher who has that same commitment and who will be willing to always go the extra mile and build good working relationships with parents and the community. As part of your role as the class teacher you must ensure that you have a clear understanding of the needs of all pupils, including those with SEN/D Able and Talented; EAL; PPG; and be able to use and evaluate distinctive teaching approaches to engage and support them. You must be able to provide opportunities for pupils to use ICT through cross-curricular activities.

You must feel confident in teaching the new national curriculum and inspiring the children to master each subject so that they can fulfil their potential and it is essential that you are an excellent team player who uses feedback as an opportunity to exceed and have high expectations of yourself and pupils, as it is part of the schools ethos to be a free flow environment where flexibility and resilience is key to succeeding.

You must be comfortable liaising with specialist staff, as appropriate, to help deliver the curriculum as the school has a rich pool of support from EAL specialists to the leader for Behaviour Management, the school are lucky enough to have the room and staff to offer intervention groups for pupils which has a fantastic effect on learning outcomes making sure that no child is left behind.

Commitment is key as the school offer outstanding opportunities for Career development as well as a full induction process, with induction pack to ensure that before you start with them you have all the information and resources you need to thrive. As such they want people to join them who have a desire to progress with the school.

The pupils are enthusiastic and want to learn, due to the processes in place and the pupil focused learning style the childrens behaviour and the general atmosphere within the school is excellent.

As well as the academic the school have a rich love of literature and is something that they want to cultivate in the children exposing them to the classics and making this a fundamental part of learning, they are hoping to build on the library that they already have to create an oasis for every child to escape to, this creative spirit can also be seen through their whole school projects.

If you think that this could be the school for you then please do get in touch for further information.
