Protocol Education are working with a special school in Bath that are looking for a full time Outreach Support Worker.

The school is a special school for children, secondary aged with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school is part of a supportive trust and community with other schools ensuring a strong partnership and leadership and leading continuous professional development.
The school works together through a child centred approach to design and individualise excellent learning programmes that inspire, engage and support students specifically in smaller groups and a more intensive environment to support vulnerable students and those with additional needs.

More information about the role:
The school are looking for a candidate who can be flexible as the role will include working within classrooms supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis, as well as going out to meet with students who are not currently in education for a variety of reasons and supporting on a 1:1 level.

Role: Outreach Support Worker

Start Date: ASAP, an on-going role with the potential to turn permanent

Hours: Monday - Thursday 830-330, Friday 830-1230

Location: Bath, BA2

Skill set: Any of the following experience would be beneficial - Youth work/Care work/ SEMH or SEND experience/ Outreach work/Behaviour experience

Candidate would need to be a car driver
