Job description
A large Special Education needs education provider are looking to recruit a Support Assistant that can help the pupils understand and take part in Outdoor Education. This role will be full time and could become permanent for the right member of staff.

The role will be working on and off site, you will be assisting with the Instructor in taking pupils to complete Outdoor Educational Experiences such as orienteering, rock climbing and Canoeing

The pupils of this school all suffer for emotional and behavioural issues and so the ideal candidate will need to be supportive whilst maintains strong discipline ensuring pupils follow the policies and procedures of the school.

This is an ideal role for a sports graduate or someone who has completed their Duke of Edinburgh

As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
