Job description
I am delighted to be working with a number of Primary Schools in Cambridgeshire who have out of school clubs and are in need of daily, long term and permanent support.
This is a fantastic opportunity to involve yourself and contribute your personality and skill set into a school for a few hours a day, if you have other commitments or a busy schedule. You may be after a career change but would like to start slowly and gain some experience within a school environment on a part time basis. You may be looking for some extra in come but do not want to commit to full days.
These positions are term time only, operating between the hours of 3 until 6, Monday to Friday
If you are;
·Enthusiastic and adaptable
·Have good interpersonal skills
·Enjoy working as part of a team
·Enjoy working with children
·Care for the welfare and learning of children
·Patient and creative
·Have a strong understanding of children's needs
·Compassionate and friendly
NVQ Level 2 or 3 Childcare qualified or having an equivalent qualification is desirable.
You will collect the children from the primary school, which are on site and provide fun activities both indoors and outdoors for the children. Activities include arts and crafts, sports, table top games and support with their homework.
Trial days available into a permanent position
Experience of working with children 5-11 years is desirable.
