Job description
Protocol Education are working on behalf of an OUTSTANDING Primary School in Trafford who are seeking a Deputy Manager for their after school club during term time, and holiday club. They are looking for someone to start as soon as possible and will offer a permanent position subject to a probationary period

Term time hours are 2-6pm Mon-Fri
School holiday hours will be a minimum of 20 hours per week, however there is the option to do extra hours/full time if the applicant

The successful applicant will:-
• Hold a relevant qualification to at least NVQ level 3 or equivalent suitable qualifications that would support the role
• Have experience of managing a team
• Have a sound understanding of the current legislation relating to the Safeguarding of children and the responsibilities that go with this
• Be competent in the use of ICT - including experience of working with Word and Excel
• Be hard working, professional and reliable and keep good time keeping
• Be an effective communicator and be able to work effectively with all stakeholders including school leaders and parents and carers
• Be committed to the ongoing development of the growing club and it's team
• Have a successful history, (minimum 2 years' experience), of working with children and young people in the primary age range and planning activities for them, both indoors and outdoors
• Have experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of inclusive practice
