Job description
I am currently recruiting for playworkers to provide support in out of school clubs within Cambridgeshire. Usual hours are 3pm until 6pm. Work can be on a daily supply, long term or permanent basis, dependent on your preferences and requirements. Placements involve breakfast clubs, holiday clubs and after school clubs.

What will you do?

. Room preparation before the session
. Preparation of room activities
. Preparation of snacks and refreshments
. Joining in and playing alongside children, building trusting relationships
. Show initiative with children, providing high quality observations and approachable care
. Administering First Aid as appropriate
. Encouraging positive behaviour, reinforcing and referring to club agreements
. Tidying rooms - House duties
. Supervising children, inside and outside
. Escorting children safely around the site
. Working as a team member
. Carrying out checklists and risk assessments

Prior experience within child care or similar setting is preferable, however a high degree of competency, enthusiasm and love for working with children is also important.
