We are currently looking for a friendly and approachable Primary Teacher who can engage in multiple disciplines, with a strong passion in working with vulnerable students.

The position will be based within the Middlesbrough area working with the council and local authorities providing alternative education to SEND and looked after children on a 1:1 basis . The role would be suitable for those looking for a flexible working time rota, but also holds full time positions Monday to Friday in certain bases and provisions. The role would be a mix of in person 1:1 Tuition and Teaching, but also online learning depending on the child and circumstances.

The students face daily challenges in managing and controlling their emotions for many different reasons and come under the SEND and vulnerable category, so it's very important for us to find the right fit for the role.

Key Qualifications and qualities required:

• Recognised QTS or QTLS within Primary Education (preferred not mandatory)
• An ability to plan, deliver and assess across EYFS to KS2
• A higher education degree or other relevant experience.
• An empathetic and understand person who can deliver with a personal approach
• A genuine interest to help those in need with a nurturing approach that comes naturally
• Being able to remain focused and calm, be reactive to obstacles that may occur with the ability to recognise triggers and diffuse the situation before escalation
