Job description
I am currently recruiting for a welcoming, committed and positiive nursery based in Cambridge.

The position will see the successful for Learning Support Assistant support a child with additional needs, 8am - 6pm Wednesday - Friday. £15,014.00 - £16,123.00 FTE (dependent on experience). This is a long term opportunity as the child will be situated at the nursery until they begin school in 2019.

Applicants will need to have a genuine interest in challenging young children in a supportive environment to achieve their full potential. Experience of working with children is desirable. Excellent training and development opportunities are available.

To provide assistance to child(ren) with special needs within your care to enable them to:-

- Gain maximum benefit from their education
- Integrate with other children
- Adjust and cope with normal life in the future

Your main Duties will include:-

- General Educational Duties
- Welfare Duties
- Work with Families
- Involvement in meetings
- Support duties
- Professional Development

Protocol Education is a specialist provider of classroom based staff to schools and academies in England. We provide our 4,000 clients with the full range of classroom based staff on both a temporary and permanent basis. Additionally, we provide teaching staff to international schools across the globe.

Each year over 11,000 teachers, teaching assistants, SEND specialists, early years, one-to-one tuition staff, and intervention specialists work through Protocol Education on either a full-time or part-time basis to help children meet their education goals. Each one is met face to face by one of our staff and checked to ensure that they meet the DfE safeguarding standards.
