Protocol Education are currently recruiting candidates who have experience working in the nursing sector who are looking to apply their skills in one of our outstanding special needs schools located in Wandsworth to start in September 2021. This particular school caters for students with a range of needs that include physical disabilities, severe learning difficulties, visual impairments and medical needs. As a teaching assistant you will have the opportunity to utilise your nursing skills in an educational setting, work with students on a one to one basis and support students on a sensory and academic level. Candidates must be passionate about having a positive impact on their wellbeing, learning & development.

Responsibilities:
• Assisting with students medical needs
• Adhering to the safeguarding policy
• Supporting students with cognitive development
• Assisting and engaging students with sensory techniques
• Working one to one with students
• Working as part of a team
