Job description
Protocol Education is currently looking for a dynamic and positive nursery assistant.
We offer flexible supply work in Hillingdon and the surrounding areas - with both part-time and full-time roles available.

You don't need to have a Childcare qualification, but we do ask that you have at least 3 months experience of working with children (this can be formal or informal experience).

For the right candidate we offer excellent rates of pay; between £9-£10ph depending on experience and continued support through all placements via a dedicated consultant.

•Able to use your own initiative
•Able to meet the needs of individual children from different cultures, religious backgrounds and stages of development;
•Able to promote and support the safeguarding of children
•Punctual

Desirable attributes are:
•An ability to provide fun learning activities
•Being creative
•Confidence to sing nursery rhymes and read books with the children

Your role may include:
•The preparation and completion of activities to suit the child's stage of development
•Cleaning up after messy activities
•Ensuring that mealtimes are a time of pleasant social sharing
•Washing and changing children as required
•Providing comfort and warmth to an ill child
•Interacting with children on their level
