Job description
Protocol Education are looking for a fully qualified Early Years Teacher (EYT/QTS) or a Level 6 Degree Qualified Nursery Practitioner to lead a Pre-School room at a Nursery in Kingston
We're looking for a talented and qualified Early Years Teacher/Level 6 Practitioner to join our friendly team at a nursery in Kingston. You will be EYT or QTS qualified Early Years Teacher or a Level 6 Qualified Practitioner who has passion and enthusiasm to complement our existing team of experienced child care practitioners.
Key responsibilities:
·Responsible for the development and daily management of the teaching practice at the nursery & pre-school
·Provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
·Ensuring a high standard of quality, safe, interesting and stimulating environment for children within group rooms
·Key person for a designated group of children in addition to have an overall duty of care to all children within the nursery
·To complete all required planning and record keeping in line with the nurseries policies and procedures and ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times through
·Assessing, recording and reporting on the development progress and attainments of the children to the Manager and Assistant Manager
Our Ideal Candidate Will:
·Hold a relevant Early Years Teaching qualification (QTS)
·Have 1 years childcare experience
·Have 1 years experience working in a nursery setting
·Be energetic and fun
·Have a real love and drive for working with and educating children
·Have a good understanding of the EYFS and Safeguarding
·Be happy to up-skill and improve their learning
·Believe in building strong Parent Partnerships to provide cohesive learning to our children
You need:
·A full and relevant Early Years Teaching qualification eg EYT or QTS with Early Years or a BA (Hons) Level 6 Degree
·Experience teaching within a private day nursery
