Job description
This two form entry school in the heart of Finchley are seeking a passionate, compassionate and effective Nursery teacher to work alongside the other nursery teacher. You will have at least 2 years experience within an early years setting or you will be an exceptional NQT with the in a ability to teach 3-4 years old.

You will live locally to Barnet or be willing to travel here on a daily basis. An advanced proficiency in phonics is needed as well as experience with EAL children. You will have the ability to really nurture and develop your children's life, education and social skills. It takes a very calm and persevering teacher to teach nursery

You will have a wealth of techniques that will ensure learning through play as well as a thorough understanding of the pedagogy of young children.

The role would require you to fully commit yourself to the school and the class. You will be expected to undertake full responsibility for an early years teacher; planning, preparation, delivering and ensuring the safeguarding of your children.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
