Job description
Due to an increase in numbers of children on role, an exciting opportunity has arisen to work in an Ofsted rated outstanding private childcare nursery. As Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for all aspects of providing high quality child care for under 5 year olds in an early education setting.

As a proactive member of a staff team you will help to provide a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment in which young children are fully supported and encouraged to achieve their individual potential. Working with a positive, can do attitude, using your own initiative and creative thinking, you will actively engage with, and create positive relationships with, the children within your care and their parents/carers.

Working as a strong team player, you will be responsible for planning through the Early Years Framework of Learning, implementing all policies and procedures and acting as a positive role model for children and other staff members. Excellent training opportunities will also be available.

Your role will involve collecting children from local schools for the Out of School Club, and may involve covering staff sickness and holidays at other nurseries part of the company Therefore, a full UK Driving license is crucial. A current Paediatric First Aid qualification would be advantageous.
