Protocol Education is working with a 2 form entry school based in the London Borough of Enfield who are in search of a nurturing, creative, enthusiastic early years teacher. The school has an OFSTED rating ‘good’ and is located near the A10 and not far from local tube stations/bus stops.

Job role:

  • Engaging and encouraging learners to use their language skills
  • Monitoring students’ playtime and physical activities
  • Documenting student development and progress to share with parents
  • Encouraging creativity in pupils by organising art and craft projects daily
  • Introducing interactive activities into the classroom and encouraging students to voice their questions and concerns
  • Helping children understand key concepts such as numbers, reading, writing and science
  • Attending staff meeting and training
  • Trained in personal care/nappy changing
  • Supporting young children to settle and families through the process.

What you need:

  • QTS (qualified teacher status)
  • DBS -enhanced, child workforce
  • EYFS curriculum background knowledge
  • Safeguarding trained

The role of the Nursery teacher will consist of planning and delivering lessons to a class of approximately 30 students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
