Nursery Support Assistant – Barking & Dagenham

We are currently seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Nursery Support Assistant to join a friendly and supportive early years setting in Barking & Dagenham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young children’s learning and development in a nurturing environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A full and relevant Level 2 qualification (or above) in Early Years (essential)
• Experience working within an early years setting as a Nursery Nurse, Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and child protection procedures
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to delivering high-quality care and learning experiences

Responsibilities:

• Supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing
• Assisting with planning and engaging activities in line with EYFS
• Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
• Building positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
• Supporting the nursery team with daily routines and activities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
