Nursery Practitioner Ready for a New Challenge? Become a Learning Support Assistant in Buckhurst Hill

Your Early Years experience has already given you an incredible foundation for working in a school.

You understand child development. You can turn activities into learning opportunities. You know how to comfort an upset child, encourage communication and celebrate every small step forward.

We are looking for nursery practitioners and Early Years professionals who would like to move into Learning Support Assistant roles within schools in Buckhurst Hill.

Your transferable skills could include:

• Supporting children’s communication and language
• Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities
• Encouraging independence and positive behaviour
• Following individual care or learning plans
• Building strong relationships with children and families
• Observing and recording children’s development

You may support children in EYFS or Key Stage 1, including pupils with speech and language needs, Autism, developmental delays or other additional needs.

A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification would be advantageous, but relevant practical experience will also be considered.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
