Specialised Social, Emotional & Mental Health academy based in the Leicestershire area that support pupils aged between 3 and 19 years with SEMH needs.

They require friendly, caring, empathetic and proactive Early Years Teaching Assistants (EYFS) to join their Support team. You will be required to provide general classroom support and may also be asked to work on a one-to-one basis or in small groups. Previous experience of working with Special Education Needs pupils (especially pupils with SEMH) is desirable, but not essential. Those wishing to gain experience in this field are more than welcome to apply for the position. Training can be provided to successful candidates.
All applicants must be willing to assist with personal and medical care when required. The academy promotes highly tailored learning to support the pupils successfully on their educational journey by embedding inspiring and nurturing approaches for them to reach their full potential.
Teaching Assistants with Manual Handling training (including Team Teach & NAPPI) and Medical Administration training are highly desirable.

8.30am - 4.00pm
£65 - £75 per day

Ideal Candidate:
Previous SEN experience (SEMH) - highly desirable
Caring & Proactive
Early Years Experience - desirable
Manual Handling training (including Team Teach & NAPPI) - highly desirable.
