Job description
Are you a qualified Level 3 Nursery Nurse and have a passion for working with children?

Protocol supply staff to schools, pre-schools, nurseries and children’s centres in Cambridge city and the surrounding villages. The nature of the work provides you with complete flexibility, you are able to pick the days on which you are able to work, whether that is five days a week or just one. The role is perfect for anybody looking for work which they are able to fit around other commitments, such as a university course. We are currently looking for qualified nursery nurses to join our ever growing team. The position requires that you are at least level 3 qualified, and have recent experience working within a childcare setting. First and foremost, you must be passionate about working with children and young people, and aiding them in their education and development.

Your role within the nursery will be to support full time staff in the day to day care and education of the children. This means interacting with the children all day long, engaging them in creative play, leading story time, assisting with meal times etc. You will be supported by a friendly and professional team in the Protocol office, who have previous experience themselves in the childcare and education field. We aim to find you local work in settings that you enjoy and look forward to going back to.

The Role:

 Assisting the Nursery team in providing high quality childcare

 Providing inspiration to nursery children through exciting activities in all areas of learning

 Maintaining a safe, secure and caring environment

 NVQ Level 3 qualified

 First Aid qualified

 Previous child care experience

 Good experience working from EYFS scheme
