Job description
Protocol Education is currently on the hunt for experienced and qualified Nursery Nurses and Nursery Assistants.

If you're looking for a fresh start and flexible work, live in or nearby the London Borough of Brent, have a wealth of experience behind and would like to share your knowledge with both the children and fellow staff, Protocol Education wants to hear from you!

Our primary schools and private nurseries book with us on a daily basis and we would be able to get you plenty of work on the days you are available. You will be covering sickness and absence for permanent members of staff, and with time the long term and even permanent opportunities may be available as well.

The usual shifts are 9am-6pm in private nurseries and 8.30am-4pm in primary schools.

You will be asked to support the team and supervise children aged 8 months 4 years. You will ensure children's safety and make of their academic and social development. The ideal candidate will ideally be also keen to undertaken necessary trainings in order further grow in their career in education.

Essential requirements:
- Experience in working in a Nursery or Early years setting as a Nursery Nurse/Nursery Assistant
- Relevant qualification (CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Education or/and BTEC National Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development or/and NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development)
- Strong understanding of the British Early Years National Curriculum
- Right to work in the UK
- Excellent references, proof of address and DBS/police checks
- A Commitment and passion for working with children
- A Warm, enthusiastic and positive approach, lots of creative ideas and a willingness to work as part of a team.
