Job description
Working Hours: 40 hour per week, full time

Salary: £21,944

Protocol Education are currently recruiting for an Early Years Educator to work in a nursery based in Waterloo.

The nursery is a 84 place day nursery catering for children 3 months - 5 years. They are rated Good by ofsted but are striving to reach Outstanding.

Knowledge and experience

Essential

Two to three years experience in a similar role

A childcare or Early Years Education qualification equivalent to NVQ 2 or above

Experience of working within 1 or more of the following age groups, under 2's, 2-3 or 3+

Excellent Reading,, writing and IT skills

First Aid and Safeguarding to at least level 1

Skills and Personal Qualities

Essential

Excellent attention to detail to ensure children's needs are met throughout the day

Ability to plan and undertake clear care routines

Excellent verbal and communication skills in order to provide concise and relevant feedback to parents

Ability to record and maintain accurate online records Classroom Monitor

Able to work well independently or as part of a team

As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
