Job description
Protocol Education is working on behalf of a leading day nursery in Timperley, Trafford.

The Nursery has been, awarded Great Place to Work for 12 years and they are looking to recruit 2 x Room Leaders for preschool and toddler rooms.

Both roles are for immediate start and full time, that can be either 4 days or the standard Monday-Friday with shift times being 7.30-16.30 or 9.00-18.00.

Job description
As a Room Leader you will be required to:
• Oversee the day to day running of the nursery room and to support the management team in leading the setting.
• To use your initiative and imagination to generate new ideas, games and activities for the children.
• Plan, implement and evaluate a curriculum appropriate to age and individual needs of the children, ensuring the room layout supports these aims.
• Oversee a team of nursery staff, ensuring that all jobs are completed to the highest possible standard.
• Keep parents informed of their child's progress as well as any key events or changes regarding the nursery.

Essential requirements:
- Experience in working in a Nursery or Early years setting as a Nursery Nurse.
- Relevant qualification (CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Education or/and BTEC National Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development or/and NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development)
- Strong understanding of the British Early Years National Curriculum
- Right to work in the UK
- Excellent references, proof of address and DBS/police checks
- A Commitment and passion for working with children
- A Warm, enthusiastic and positive approach, lots of creative ideas and a willingness to work as part of a team.
