Job description
PROTOCOL EDUCATION is now working with an exciting and dynamic nursery in SOUTHWARK to recruit nursery practitioners for permanent positions. They have openings for qualified and unqualified candidates.

If you would like to start a career as Nursery Nurse, then this is a great opportunity to join a team where you will have great support form experienced and qualified colleagues and management team. You will get training and support that will give you great insight into the Early Years practice.

If you already have experience and qualification as a Nursery Practitioner, great opportunity to join a Nursery that was rated good in 2017 and always looking to improve. This could be a great opportunity for you to join a great team and make the most of what you have learned to date.

They have part time as well as full time openings.

Nursery Practitioner Role:

Providing inspiration to nursery children through exciting activities in all areas of learning whilst incorporating EYFS.
Maintaining a safe, secure and caring environment
To actively model and promote the values and ethos of the nursery

Requirements:

Childcare experience
Good interpersonal skills and an ability to be organised and efficient
The ability to support trainees through mentoring and coaching
Acting as Key-worker and to observe
A working knowledge of the Children's Act is an advantage
Good communication skills both with children and parents
Ability to form good interactions with children and use own initiative
