Job description
- Nursery Nurse Level 3 Montessori Qualified only
We are looking for a Montessori trained Nursery Nurse for a lovely Nursery in the Brent area.
The nursery has many transportation links and easy to get to and from and has the perks of having many shops and cafes.
Hours - Mon-Fri - 9am-4pm
Opportunities - As this nursery is growing on occupancy there will be progression opportunities available
If you want to be put forward for this role you need:
·Have Montessori qualified Nursery Nurse qualification
·Have at least 1year experience in a nursery setting
·Have an up to date dbs. on the update service
·2 references from your most recent employment

Main Duties and Responsibilities
·Help organise weekly activities suitable to the age range of children in your room in conjunction with other staff.
·To keep a record of achievement file on your key children..
·To support all staff and engage in a good staff team.
·To liaise with and support parents and your peers.
·To be involved in out of working hours activities, e.g. training, staff meetings, open days, parents meetings.
·To be flexible within the working practices of the Nursery and to be prepared to help where needed; including undertaking certain domestic jobs such as preparing snacks and cleaning equipment.
·To work alongside the Principal and Staff Team to ensure that the Nursery's Montessori Philosophy is fulfilled.
·To record accidents in the accident book and ensure a manager has signed the report before the parent receives it.
·To look upon the Nursery as a whole, ensuring that you are working efficiently, whilst constantly being aware of the needs of the children.
·To ensure each child is collected by their parent/carer or another person requested by the parent/carer.
·To develop your role within the team especially in your role as a key person.
·Specific Child Care Tasks:
·The preparation and completion of activities to suit the child's stage of development.
·Ensuring that mealtimes are a time of pleasant social sharing.
·Washing and changing children as required.
·To ensure the provision of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of individual children from differing cultures and religious backgrounds, and at different stages of development.
·To be aware of the high profile of the nursery and to uphold the standards at all times.
