About the role
This is an exciting and fulfilling role that incorporates lots of variety. As a Nursery Nurse, you will spend your days looking after children from 3 months old, right up to pre-school age.
You'll ensure that the children have fun whilst being sensitive and attentive to their individual needs.
This role is open to those with a Nursery Nurse level 3, we will also consider a level 2 Nursery Nurse qualification.

Nursery, the days are filled with a varied and exciting curriculum.

The Montessori curriculum is divided into five core areas of study: practical life, sensorial, mathematics, language and cultural.

We are looking for a qualified Nursery Nurse Candidate and if you are applying you must have an NVQ Level 2 qualification and have experience of working with children from 2 to 5 years. We are looking for someone enthusiastic with a can-do attitude, who has experience working with children and undertaking observation, planning and assessment using the EYFS framework.
·You must have a very good knowledge of the EYFS and Child Protection/safeguarding procedures and enjoy working with children.
·You will keep children's learning journeys up to date and all assessments within the room.
· You will work with the Manager/Deputy to ensure all aspect are being run correctly and adhere to the nurseries policies and procedures
·Experience in leading Room
·Work as a key person and provide high standards of quality learning
·Observe and plan for children following EYFS curriculum
·Build relationships with children and their families
·Very good understanding of OFSTED requirements
·Maintain health & safety of children and follow safeguarding procedures
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
·Childcare qualification NVQ/Diploma/BTEC level 2 or higher
·Experience in a nursery/early year setting
·Knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and health and safety
·Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
·Liaise with and develop good relationships with parents
·Salary £17,500.00- £20,000 Negotiable
