Job description
NURSERY MANAGER

We are working with a nursery who are in search of a Nursery Manager in Alconbury Weald. This is for a brand new, modern nursery, currently open with 38 children (with space for 52). The environment is beautiful design both in and out with new equipment. It is attached to a school, with access to their facilities such as their music room, library and baking room. Children 2 years+ can use the forest schools too. The nursery has existing permanent and it's own bank staff.

The ideal Nursery Manager candidate will:
-Will be calm, caring and thoughtful
-Be proactive in management style
-Communicate effectively with the children, parents/carers and colleagues
-Have creative ideas but with a willingness to take on ideas from others
-Have a strong understanding of children's learning and development, the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework

The nursery can offer
-Staff parking
-A relationship and link with the school
-You will not be included in the ratio so you will be an additional member of staff to be flexible in supporting staff, children and completing the paperwork.
-Regular staff meetings and child protection training

A nursery manager must have:
·A minimum of Level 3 or 4 Nursery Qualification or above
·Must have previous experience as a Nursery Manager
