Job description
I am excited to announce I am exclusively working with this private nursery in the borough of Barnet who are looking for a nursery mananger for a full time position for an all year round postion.

To work as a nursery manager, you will need a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification in childcare plus around two years’ post-qualifying experience of working with children. Supervisory experience is essential.

Other relevant qualifications incllude: Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce foundation degree or HND in an early years related subject degree in early years, childcare, child development or related subject -

You will live locally to Barnet or be willing to travel there on a daily basis. You will be a motivational leader, capable of inspring your staff whilst providing the hisgest standard of care to your pupils. You will be an effcetive communicator, experienced in delievring feedback to parent and to staff members. You will be a passionate early years woirker with exectpional organistaio skills.

You will have a key role in planning and monitoring of the nursery and implementing essential policies and procedures. This will require creative thought together with an informed understanding of statutory requirements and best practice for childcare.

Youmust work to Nursery policies about Keeping Children Safe, Equal Opportunities, Data Protection and Confidentiality.

The successful candidate will need to understand and implement For Under Fives policies and procedures (for example for Health and Safety) in relation to staff, buildings and resources.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
