Job description
  • Location: Hillingdon
  • Salary: £18,000-£22,000 pa
  • Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday
  • Contract: Permanent

Are you passionate about food, with the drive and determination needed to organise a kitchen and plan nutritional menus? If so, we would love to hear from you.

We are currently working with a chain of nurseries who are looking for an experienced chef to work at one of their settings. This is a full time, permanent position.

You will be working alongside a kitchen, the hours are 8-4 Monday to Friday.

Your role will include:
  • Providing nutritionally balanced meals and snacks to the children within the nursery throughout the day.
  • An excellent understanding of food intolerances, allergies and dietary requirements.
  • Responsibility for the cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, the kitchen and food storage areas.
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies and legislation.

Key attributes we are looking for:
  • You should have previous experience of working in a kitchen, preferably working within early years.
  • You must hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
  • Good hygiene practice is essential.
